Today would have been Clash frontman Joe Strummer's 57th birthday. Unfortunately, Mr. Strummer died in 2002 of heart failure. A tragic death, we lost him far to early. The Clash, his band, was a member of the early London Punk movement. They recorded such greats as London Calling, Rock the Casbah, Should I stay or should I go, White Riot, Know your rights, and train in vain.
Happy Birthday Mr. Strummer.
